Letting Go

Third installment in this series and although I keep saying that I have too many products to suffer through ones that don't work for me, I still find myself trying to give things ev-ver-ry chance possible. So silly! Going forward I'm really going to have to take this title to heart and just let go. Read on to see the products I'm breaking up with.

Casualty: NYX Studio Liquid Liner 'Extreme Coffee'
Reason: I can't get the hang of these brush tip applicators

There's nothing wrong with the product; it's strictly user retardation.

Since the next couple of items are the same type of product I just lumped them together.

Casualties (all concealers): Milani Secret Cover 03 'Dark', Black Opal Fade & Conceal 03 'Toast' and Maybelline Fit Me 35 'Deep'

Reason: wrong shade

Milani - has a olive undertone that looks so wrong on me

Black Opal - too light, even as an under eye "brightener"

Maybelline - wha deep wha?

I added the Smashbox one as a colour comparison. I like that one for concealing blemishes.

I really like the doe foot applicator on the Maybelline Fit Me

How is that Fit Me 'Deep'? Stupse.

The wrong shade of concealer doesn't have to be a total bust though, try using it as an eyeshadow primer before you give up.
